Wasp Control
Wasps are a growing concern in Otago. There are five varieties of wasps that we frequently treat over the Summer period - the German Wasp and Common Wasp, and three varieties of Paper Wasp. We use a broad spectrum approach to this pest, specifically targeting nests using a permethrin powder.
We use a number of tools and a varied approach to neutralise this pest.
Flies & Insects
A fly's reproduction cycle takes approximately 1-week. After flies mate the female fly is ready to deposit eggs. Female flies can lay 150 eggs in one go, and within less than a week, can be added up to 800 or more eggs!
We use effective knock down sprays with excellent repellency offering solutions to flies that can carry disease and also to other insects.
The treatment for wasps, flies and insects needs to have an integrated approach with the assistance of an experienced licenced pest controller - Pest Free Otago.
